IT Technician

"ITConnect" is announcing a vacancy for the position of IT Technician.

Salary: depends on experience and qualifications

Working hours: Monday-Friday (10:00-19:00)

Location: Tbilisi, Chavchavadze Avenue

Key responsibilities:

Cabling, diagnostics, and recovery of network cables; arranging Racks, installing network devices, and organizing cables on Patch Panels; Distribution, installation, and technical maintenance of computer and network equipment; Configuration and technical support of network devices (Router, Switch, Firewall); Monitoring and control of server room technical condition; Coordination and communication with internet providers on technical issues; Installation and configuration of monitoring sensors, video cameras, and recording systems; Technical support of audio/video systems in conference spaces; Periodic visits to user sites for technical support and necessary work, with corresponding reporting; Registration of user technical issues in the Helpdesk system, processing tickets, and monitoring performance; Prompt response to critical technical notifications and timely elimination of problems.

Qualification requirements:

Higher or professional education in IT, network technologies, or a similar field; Experience working as an IT technician, network administrator, or technical support; Practical knowledge of network infrastructure, cabling, Racks, Patch Panels, and network devices; Knowledge of configuring and diagnosing Router, Switch, and Firewall devices; Experience with video surveillance and audio/video system installation and technical support will be considered an advantage; Ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and independently eliminate technical problems; Experience working with Helpdesk systems and documenting technical issues; High sense of responsibility, efficiency, and effective communication with users.
