Car Rental Agent

Hertz Georgia is looking for a customer-oriented, reliable, and energetic Car Rental Agent, who will manage the vehicle pick-up and drop-off processes, consult clients during the rental process, ensure documentation accuracy, and help maintain the readiness of vehicles for service. The position combines direct customer service, rental administration, and coordination with our technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

** Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, create a pleasant first impression, and understand their needs related to car rental.

** Accurately and efficiently execute rental and return transactions, including producing necessary documentation and conducting vehicle handover and return checks.

** Accurately complete and process rental agreements, ensure all necessary information is reflected, and adhere to the company's updated standards if implemented.

** Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the rental process, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and coordinate the resolution of issues related to reservations or car rentals.

** Process and scan customer and rental documentation as needed to ensure compliance with local requirements.

** Assist customers in the car selection process and offer suitable rental options based on their needs, preferences, and availability.

** Introduce and explain approved additional services, including insurance packages, GPS, Wi-Fi, additional driver add-ons, child seats, and other available products - in accordance with customer needs and company standards.

** Inform customers about relevant local road rules and regulations, including speed limits, parking requirements, and possible fines.

** Provide customers with directions and practical travel information, using maps and GPS tools when available.

** Check that vehicles are clean, organized, technically ready, and in a suitable condition for handover to customers; notify the relevant person in a timely manner about any defects or damages.

** Monitor the technical condition of vehicles and engage in the repair or replacement process if necessary.

** Coordinate with technical service centers and suppliers on vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

** Adhere to company policies and procedures to protect company assets, maintain service quality, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

** Provide relevant feedback to the manager or team and information about recurring issues to contribute to continuous service improvement.

** Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational, customer service, and sales goals.

** Perform other related duties assigned by the direct manager that are within the scope of the position.

Qualification requirements:

** Fluent English with strong verbal and written skills.

** Working level of Russian for communication with clients and fluent Georgian.

** B category driver's license and at least three years of driving experience.

** Higher education is desirable.

** Experience in customer service, car rental, tourism, hospitality, or similar customer-oriented positions will be considered an advantage.

** Strong communication, active listening, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.

** Positive, customer-oriented attitude and the ability to confidently offer suitable rental options and approved additional services.

** Accuracy and attention to detail in preparing contracts, processing documents, and transferring vehicles.

** Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with digital booking, documentation, and communication tools.

** Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a responsible and professional approach.

** Flexibility to work according to operational needs.

** Basic knowledge of social media, including the ability to support approved posts and monitor customer messages when necessary.
