Dynatrace Technical Lead

Andersen is hiring a Dynatrace Technical Lead for a project implementing observability solutions and improving system performance, visibility, and reliability. The customer is a well-established financial institution offering a broad range of banking and financial services to individuals and businesses. Its portfolio includes accounts, loans, payment solutions, savings, investments, insurance, and other financial products. The company combines an extensive service network with modern digital banking solutions and maintains a strong position in its domestic market, focusing on customer service, digitalization, and sustainable growth. The project is focused on designing and implementing a Dynatrace pilot for the cash loan process to establish an effective monitoring and observability approach. It aims to improve system visibility, performance monitoring, issue detection, and operational reliability.

Responsibilities: - Assessing the existing Dynatrace environment, available licences, and technical constraints. - Defining the architecture and scope of the Cash Loan monitoring pilot. - Installing or configure the required Dynatrace components and agents. - Connecting relevant applications, APIs, Azure resources, and AKS workloads. - Configuring end-to-end transaction monitoring across the main Cash Loan processing flow. - Setting up dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and problem notifications. - Defining tagging, naming conventions, access rules, and environment separation. - Configuring monitoring for logs, metrics, traces, service health, and application performance. - Supporting correlation of requests across frontend, APIs, workflow services, and integration components. - Defining pilot acceptance criteria and recommendations for further rollout. - Preparing technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Requirements: - Experience with application performance monitoring or observability for 4+ years. - Strong hands-on experience implementing and configuring Dynatrace. - Experience with Azure. - Experience with OneAgent and ActiveGate. - Experience monitoring containerized applications and Kubernetes environments. - Experience configuring dashboards, alerts, metrics, logs, and distributed traces. - Understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and end-to-end transaction monitoring. - Experience with Java applications or similar enterprise backend services. - Ability to design and deliver an observability pilot independently. - Good troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge-transfer skills. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have: - Experience monitoring AKS and Azure services. - Familiarity with Dynatrace Operator. - Experience with OpenTelemetry. - Experience with Real User Monitoring for Angular applications. - Familiarity with Azure API Management, Camunda, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Elasticsearch. - Experience defining SLI/SLO indicators. - Dynatrace certification. - Experience in banking or another regulated industry.

Compensation: 4600–6900 EUR per month.
