Ophthalmologist

Clinic "Enmedic" is announcing a vacancy for an Ophthalmologist position.

Work location: Tbilisi, L. Managadze St. N3, near 300 Aragveli metro station

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Remuneration: Based on performance

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting initial and follow-up ophthalmological consultations for patients;
• Evaluating patient complaints, anamnesis, and medical history;
• Assessing visual acuity and functional condition of the eye;
• Clinical evaluation of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye;
• Conducting ophthalmological examinations using relevant equipment;
• Determining necessary diagnostic tests based on patient condition;
• Evaluating, interpreting, and correlating examination results with clinical presentation;
• Diagnosing and differential diagnosis of ophthalmological diseases;
• Determining individual treatment tactics for patients;
• Providing medication treatment and other medical recommendations within competence;
• Assessing patient condition dynamics and adjusting treatment if necessary;
• Referring patients to other specialists or recommending additional tests if necessary;
• Providing patients with comprehensive information on diagnosis, treatment, and further management;
• Giving patients preventive and lifestyle-related recommendations in relevant cases;
• Producing complete and timely medical documentation;
• Properly reflecting patient visits, conducted tests, and prescribed treatment in medical documentation;
• Determining the need for patient follow-up visits and monitoring;
• Ensuring patient confidentiality and personal data protection requirements;
• Complying with clinic internal regulations, medical standards, and professional ethics norms;
• Effective collaboration with other medical personnel to ensure quality and continuous patient care.

Requirements:

• Relevant higher medical education;
• Valid professional qualification/certificate in the relevant field;
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an ophthalmologist;
• Practical experience in ophthalmological diagnosis and patient management;
• Knowledge of modern ophthalmological research methods and equipment usage;
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients;
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail;
• Teamwork skills;
• Ability to produce high-quality medical documentation.
