Dell Boomi Developer

Andersen is hiring a Dell Boomi Developer for a project automating financial processes and building secure, reliable integrations across banking and finance systems. The customer is an international organization operating in the non-commercial sector, focused on delivering large-scale initiatives with global impact. The organization works across multiple domains, combining research, collaboration, and strategic programs to support long-term development goals and improve processes related to public and organizational initiatives. Its activities involve cooperation with diverse stakeholders and participation in projects with international reach. The project is focused on automating financial and operational processes through a centralized integration platform connecting banking, finance, and donor management systems. It includes building secure and reliable revenue and expense data flows, covering transaction ingestion, validation, processing, system integration, and exception handling.

Responsibilities: - Designing and developing end-to-end integrations in Dell Boomi across CitiConnect, Azure, Salesforce and NetSuite, including processes, connectors, mappings, schedules and deployments. - Implementing CitiConnect ingestion, including scheduled statement retrieval, Statement Inquiry → Reference ID → Statement Retrieval flow, authentication, certificates/mTLS, encryption/signing and validation of Citi Sandbox connectivity. - Validating and handling Citi payload variations across countries, accounts, transaction types, currencies, bank identifiers and optional/missing fields, ensuring unexpected payloads are routed to appropriate error handling. - Landing original Citi payloads into Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 Raw/Bronze with required metadata and support the agreed incremental ingestion/watermark mechanism. - Implementing Salesforce integrations for Manual Review / donor resolution and Salesforce-ready revenue data, including polling or another agreed mechanism for detecting completed reviews and loading required Salesforce records. - Implementing the NetSuite expense integration, including data mapping, upload processing, API/Web Services or existing file-based integration patterns, and handling failed transactions. - Implementing integration reliability and monitoring, including error handling, retries, logging, monitoring, recovery, integration-level duplicate prevention and idempotency, while supporting the DWH deduplication design. - Investigating and resolving end-to-end integration issues, including network, TLS/certificate, authentication, endpoint, payload and downstream API problems. - Proactively identifying and close integration gaps with Citi/HRW, Architecture and Data Engineering teams, including missing endpoints, credentials, certificates, payload scenarios and technical requirements. - Supporting DEV/SIT/UAT and production deployment, validating end-to-end business and technical scenarios, documenting the solution and handing over the integrations to support.

Requirements: - Hands-on production experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere for 4+ years. - Development from scratch is mandatory. We are looking for hands-on product development experience, not support or maintenance work. - Solid experience with REST/SOAP and HTTP integrations, including sequential API calls, passing parameters/IDs between calls, processing responses, polling and scheduled/incremental processing. - Strong understanding of integration security — SSL/TLS, mTLS, certificates, public/private keys, authentication, encryption, signing and the difference between encoding, encryption and signing. - Experience integrating Boomi with cloud and enterprise systems, preferably Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL/Synapse, Salesforce and NetSuite. - Strong troubleshooting skills across network, endpoints, authentication, TLS/certificates and payload/API issues, including HTTP 400/401/403 errors. - Experience building reliable integrations with retry mechanisms, exception handling, logging, monitoring, queues, duplicate prevention and idempotency. - Strong system-thinking and end-to-end integration mindset, with the ability to understand dependencies across multiple systems rather than focusing only on individual Boomi processes. - Ability to work independently with incomplete requirements, investigate documentation, validate APIs/connectivity using tools such as Postman or curl, and identify missing technical information. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with architects, analysts, QA, Data Engineering and external technical teams to resolve integration gaps. - Experience supporting integration testing and production delivery, including DEV/SIT/UAT, deployment, troubleshooting and handover to support. - Level of English – Intermediate+ or above.

Compensation: 2525–4075 EUR per month.
