Verified employers: we now check the company and the person behind a vacancy, in any country
Before you send a CV, you should be able to see who you are sending it to. From today findjobs checks employers: the company's documents, the identity of the person posting the vacancies, and that this person may hire for the company. It works for a company registered in any country.
01 What we check
- The company: its registration number and its formation document, such as a certificate of incorporation, LLC formation paper or registry extract, in any language. Where the country has a public registry, we look it up there too.
- The person: a passport or ID card from any country and a three-photo face check, the same check job seekers can do.
- The link: the person is a director or partner, or a director signs a letter and confirms it to us on a number or address we find ourselves.
02 For job seekers
A Verified mark now shows on the listing and on the company's page, and the Verified employer filter on the board shows only those companies. Everyone else is still there. The mark tells you someone looked; it does not tell you the job is right for you, so read the advert and ask your questions as you always would.
03 For employers
- Your vacancies stay at the top of the board for as long as the mark lasts. Only paid placements sit above them.
- The Verified employer mark on your company page and every vacancy.

Have your registration number, your formation document and your passport or ID card ready. It takes about five minutes on a phone, and we usually decide within two working days. Your documents stay encrypted: only the people who review them can open them, and job seekers never see them.
