Cybersecurity Specialist

The Public Service Institution "Information Technology Agency" announces a vacancy for a Cybersecurity Specialist position.

Organization Overview:

• Implementing and managing modern information technologies and systems in the healthcare system;
• Creating an integrated server and network infrastructure, ensuring its secure and effective operation and development;
• Ensuring the sustainable functioning of computer equipment and peripheral devices, and telecommunication infrastructure;
• Ensuring the information security of information systems and information technology infrastructure;
• Developing, implementing, supporting, and developing integrated digital systems for managing relevant public services.

The Agency develops and supports around 100 digital systems and modules widely used, which facilitate the continuity of services in the health and social protection, and employment sectors. As an institution constantly focused on growth and meritocratic, we are pleased to welcome professionals oriented on development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Regular scanning of vulnerabilities, analyzing and evaluating results;
• Testing the security of web applications in accordance with international standards and OWASP recommendations;
• Classifying identified vulnerabilities and prioritizing them according to risk, including using CVSS;
• Collaborating with IT, DevOps, and system administration teams to coordinate the process of eliminating vulnerabilities;
• Monitoring the progress of eliminating vulnerabilities in accordance with SLAs;
• Preparing periodic reports on the status of vulnerabilities for management;
• Participating in the development and improvement of Vulnerability Management processes and policies;
• Monitoring new cyber threats and assessing their possible impact on the organization's assets.

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher education in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity;
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS);
• Experience working with CLI;
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and web service operation principles;
• Knowledge of network technologies and operating systems;
• Knowledge of CVSS, CVE, and CWE terminology and basic principles;
• Experience working with various open-source tools;
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail;
• Teamwork and effective communication skills.

Competition Stages:

• Stage 1 - Selection of applications;
• Stage 2 - Technical interviews with selected candidates resulting from the selection of applications.
