Production Manager

LLC "Fibrex" is a Georgian company producing fiber-reinforced concrete. Our team is looking for a responsible and technically-minded Production Manager to oversee the daily production process of fiber-reinforced concrete/GRC panels and ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient production.

Position Purpose

The primary goal of the Production Manager is to effectively, safely, and stably manage the production process of fiber-reinforced concrete/GRC products - execute the production plan, ensure product quality, optimize resource usage, minimize waste and defects, and organize the production team.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and control their execution. Organize the production process from raw material receipt to finished product manufacturing, processing, and transfer to the relevant stage. Monitor the technological process of fiber-reinforced concrete/GRC production and ensure compliance with established technological parameters. Control the consumption of raw materials, inert materials, cement, fiber/armature materials, additives, and other production resources. Organize the efficient use of forms, molds, machines, and production inventory. Control the stages of mixing, casting/spraying, vibration/compaction, hardening, mold removal, processing, and final finishing - in accordance with the technology used in the enterprise. Collaborate with the product quality control process; identify causes of defects, defects, and recurring problems and plan corrective actions. Quickly identify production interruptions and technological problems and coordinate their elimination with relevant responsible persons. Timely identification of planned maintenance and repair work needs for machines and coordination with the technical team. Distribute tasks among production personnel, plan shifts/loads, control performance, and ensure discipline. Organize the integration of new employees into the work process and familiarize them with work instructions. Generate data on production accounting, production quantities, raw material consumption, waste, and defects. Prepare daily/weekly reports for management: production volume, plan execution, waste, defects, interruptions, and required resources. Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, logistics, quality control, technical service, and project teams. Develop initiatives to improve the production process - to optimize time, materials, labor resources, and energy costs. Ensure and participate in the improvement of production documentation and internal procedures.

Key Qualification Requirements

Higher education in engineering, production management, technology, or construction. At least 3 years of experience in production, enterprise management, or coordination of technological processes. Experience in the production of construction materials, concrete, reinforced concrete, GRC/GFRC, fiber-reinforced concrete, or similar will be considered a significant advantage. Good knowledge of Excel; ability to account for production and analyze data. Ability to work with a team and effectively manage people. Ability to quickly identify problems, determine causes, and find practical solutions. Knowledge of labor safety requirements and a responsible attitude towards their implementation. Perfect knowledge of the Georgian language; knowledge of English or Russian will be considered an advantage.

Desirable Professional Competencies

Knowledge of GRC/GFRC and fiber-reinforced concrete production technology. Knowledge of concrete mixtures, fiber reinforcement, molding, and surface treatment processes. Experience in quality control and defect analysis. Experience in production capacity and resource planning. Experience in optimizing production costs and material consumption.
