Fraud Risk Management and Control Manager

Joint Stock Company "Bank of Georgia"'s Internal Control Department is announcing a vacancy for a Fraud Risk Management and Control Manager position in the non-credit direction.

Main functions and responsibilities: - To ensure an appropriate control environment for preventing and detecting fraud risks in pawnshop activities;

• Constant monitoring of fraud threats, analysis of identified incidents, and immediate response;

• Identification, assessment, and mitigation of causes of pawnshop fraud to minimize operational losses;

• Studying trends of existing fraudulent scenarios and developing appropriate preventive models;

• Cash and valuables inventory in accordance with the strategy to identify fraud and procedural violations;

• On-site inspection of precious metals and stones within the scope of business trips;

• Management of identified irregularity incidents within the monitoring scope, sharing relevant recommendations with specific business units, and controlling the implementation of these recommendations;

• Recording and reporting of fraudulent/suspicious incidents.

Qualification requirements: - Higher education: in finance, economics, business administration, or other related fields;

• At least 2 years of experience in audit, risk, and/or operational areas;

• Possession of a certificate confirming expertise in precious metals and stones;

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
