Software Engineer
Andersen is hiring a Software Engineer for a project developing an operations management platform and delivering scalable solutions for infrastructure, assets, and workforce management. The customer is an international company specializing in technology consulting and business process improvement. The company helps organizations enhance operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and support digital transformation initiatives through modern technology solutions, system integrations, and process automation across various business domains. The project is focused on developing and enhancing an operations and facilities management platform that helps organizations manage infrastructure, maintenance, workforce, inventory, and service processes. It enables real-time data tracking, reporting, and asset management to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and overall performance.
Responsibilities: - Developing features and implementing bug fixes across a range of modern .NET based technologies and applications. - Providing technical leadership and mentoring to software developers, other software engineers and interns. - Designing and creating next generation telecom application software, as well as participates in ongoing sustainment of the software. - Participating in all phases of the software development process. - Working as part of a distributed international team, engaging in global support and implementation activities. - Participating with the Product Management Team in the training, product briefs, and deployment of new installations both internally and externally. - Leading by example on AI-assisted development, integrating tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot into daily coding, code review, and debugging workflows; coach and pair with teammates to accelerate AI-augmented development adoption across the team.
Requirements: - Experience in .NET development for 7 years, including designing/architecting software solutions, for 5+ years. - Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core 6/7/8, ASP.NET MVC, and Blazor (Server/WebAssembly). - Solid front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap; jQuery. - Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL: schema design, views, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization. - Experience with BI dashboards, reporting, and ETL processes; SSRS is a plus. - Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, software engineering, and application lifecycle management. - Experience with REST, SOAP, WCF, and SOA. - Proficiency with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git/source control, CI/CD, build and deployment processes. - Daily hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with geographically distributed teams. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice to have: - Knowledge of BSS/OSS systems, telecommunications plant and facilities management is beneficial. - Familiarity with Dev Express Controls. - Experience or understanding of Test Driven Development. - Object-relational mapping (NHibernate, Entity Framework). - Unit Testing Frameworks (MBUnit, nUnit, xUnit). - Service bus, messaging concepts (NServiceBus, MSMQ, RabbitMQ). - Experience with Agile / Scrum or Lean development practices. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps for sprint planning, work item management, and pipeline configuration. - Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Compensation: 3050–4550 EUR per month.
