The microfinance organization "Bermeli" is announcing a vacancy

Position: Accountant Department: Financial Department Workplace: Batumi

Work experience and basic requirements:

• Experience in accounting and/or finance;
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in the banking or microfinance sector;
• Knowledge of ALTA programs (Loan Management System - LMS) and B6 is desirable;
• Knowledge of the Georgian Tax Code and accounting principles;
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is desirable;
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel);
• Analytical thinking and high sense of responsibility;
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Education

• Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field;
• Professional certification programs (ACCA or others) will be considered an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

• Accounting documentation recording and processing;
• Production of accounting postings;
• Preparation of tax declarations;
• Execution of banking operations;
• Reflection of operations in the program;
• Participation in salary accrual;
• Performance of other accounting and financial tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to work under intense workload.

Remuneration: 2500 GEL (GROSS, depending on qualification and experience)

Work schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 10:00-18:00
• Saturday: 09:20-14:20
• 40-hour workweek
