Job Description In this description, the MOH/JICA Project is hereinafter collectively referred to as “the CLIENT”, while the selected firm or individual is referred to as “the CONTRACTOR”.

The CONTRACTOR will: - Develop digital illustrations based on instructions. - Ensure a coherent, clear, and culturally appropriate visual style throughout. - Avoid cartoon-like or overly stylized expressions. - Use a realistic style for medical warning signs. - Incorporate feedback from the Project. - Prepare all illustrations in digital formats suitable for professional printing and future editing.

The illustrations will be created across approximately 30-40 pages (A5 size), and this page range serves as reference information for quotation and contract considerations. The scope may include a combination of full-page or half-page illustrations, smaller spot illustrations, icons, and other visual elements, depending on the content and layout of each page. The final number and type of illustrations will be confirmed during the development process.

Requirements Applicants must demonstrate: - Proven experience in digital illustration (portfolio required). - Ability to develop illustrations while maintaining a coherent and consistent visual language. - Ability to draw clear human figures, expressions, posture, and movement. - Proficiency in relevant illustration software and ability to provide editable source files. - Ability to follow technical guidance, incorporate revisions, and coordinate effectively with the CLIENT and other professionals involved in the assignment. - Strict adherence to the submission deadline. - Ability to communicate in Georgian (must) and English (preferred). - Experience in developing illustrations for health, medical, educational, or other information-oriented materials (preferred).

Deliverables - Digital illustrations for the first draft version of the MCH Book. - Finalized illustrations incorporating revisions from field testing. - Submission of review files (PDF) for review and approval, final production files (PDF/TIFF/PNG), and original/native editable source files (AI/PSD/EPS/SVG) used to create the illustrations, with editable layers and elements retained as applicable.

All intellectual property rights in the illustrations and other materials created specifically by the CONTRACTOR under this assignment, including the final deliverables and editable source files, shall belong to the CLIENT upon full payment.

Expected Work Period 5 October – 25 December 2026 - Illustrations developed and revised for incorporation into the field-testing version of the MCH Book: October 2026 - Finalized illustrations incorporating additional revisions and adjustments arising from the subsequent revision process, including field testing: November - December 2026

Work Arrangements Work may be conducted remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in Tbilisi if requested. The CONTRACTOR shall also be available for online meetings and other consultations as necessary during the assignment.
