Educator

Kindergarten "Nabiji-Nabiji" announces a competition for the position of Educator.

Educator must meet one of the following requirements:

• Have at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree in any field and have at least 2 years of experience working as an educator;
• Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree in the field of preschool education;
• Have at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic degree in education, humanities, psychology, art and have at least 1 year of experience working as an educator.

Professional characteristics of the educator:

• The educator, taking into account the age-related development of the child, manages the educational process.
• The educator is able to provide a child-oriented, child-friendly and child-motivated educational process.
• The educator, when managing the educational process, takes into account the principles of humanity, equality and tolerance.
• The educator demonstrates effective communication skills, is balanced, kind and objective, shows empathy and adheres to ethical standards.
• The educator demonstrates the ability to interact with the child's parents/legal representatives.
• The educator knows and understands the theories of learning and development, areas of development and patterns of development, and the factors that influence it.
• The educator is familiar with the standards in the field of early and preschool education, various pedagogical models and programs.
• The educator knows and uses in practice the methodology of early and preschool education.
• The educator is able to ensure the active involvement of each child in planning and managing different stages of the educational process (e.g., creates educational resources with them, sets a daily schedule, group rules, etc.).
• The educator knows the theoretical foundations of the importance of play, strategies for encouraging free play, types of play, forms and uses it as a basic method of teaching and development.
• The educator manages the educational process in such a way as to ensure the development of all areas (physical and sensory, social-emotional, communication skills, language and speech, cognitive, independence and adaptive behavior) presented in the educational and development standard and achieve results.
• The educator knows the legislation in the field of inclusive education and the principles of inclusive education.
• The educator is familiar with different types of disorders that hinder the child's learning and independent functioning; promotes the learning and development of a child with special educational needs.

The salary of the educator is determined according to his/her qualification possibilities, within the range of 1200-1400 GEL per month.
