Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Daily Accounting:
- Preparation and transmission, receipt, verification and posting of primary documentation (invoices, acceptance certificates, bank statements) in the accounting program.
- Management, control and periodic comparison of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Accounting for fixed assets and inventory, participation in the inventory process.
- Cash and cash control.
- Production of bank transfers and reflection in the accounting program.
Tax Accounting and Declaration:
- Preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax declarations (VAT, income, profit, property, etc.) to RS.ge.
- Constant monitoring of changes in the tax code of Georgia and compliance with the company's activities.
- Interaction with tax authorities (Revenue Service) and support for audit/inspection processes.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Financial communication with banks, auditors and foreign partners.
- Accrual of salaries, administration of compensation packages and pension contributions.
Requirements:
Education and Certificates:
- Higher education in finance, accounting or economics.
- ACCA certification (or in progress) will be considered a significant advantage.
Work Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an accountant position (preferably in a medium or large company/accounting outsourcing company).
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and international financial reporting standards (IFRS/IFRS for SMEs).
- High-level proficiency in accounting programs (e.g. ORIS, 1C, Apex, InfoEnterprise, Fina, SAP).
- Experience working independently and error-free on the RS.ge portal.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Analysis).
