Position Description

The Construction Site Engineer focuses on managing and supervising excavation, foundation, reinforced concrete, and waterproofing works. The position combines construction site management, work supervision, and coordination of subcontractors, particularly in foundation and structural works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and supervision of excavation works, earthworks (excavation), foundation arrangement, reinforced concrete structures, and waterproofing systems on site

• Management of daily operations, workforce, and construction stages

• Coordination of subcontractors for excavation, structural, and waterproofing works, and ensuring smooth communication between them

• Control of accurate implementation of approved structural drawings, waterproofing details, project production, and technical specifications for excavation (drilling-structural, barrettes)

• Earthworks and soil reinforcement

• Monolithic slabs, supporting walls, and zero-level structures

• Foundation waterproofing systems (membranes, interface details, protective layers)

• Monitoring of concreting process, formwork, reinforcement, pouring, curing, and waterproofing stages

• Verification and control of excavation records, concrete pouring reports, inspection registers, and test results

• Control of correct execution of details: construction joints, wide joints, waterstops, strips, membrane overlaps, and terminations

• Communication with designers, geotechnical consultants, and waterproofing suppliers as needed

• Ensuring compliance with labor safety, quality standards, local regulations, and manufacturer's recommendations

• Identification of technical issues and proposing practical engineering solutions

• Control of completed work volumes and performance forms

• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports

• Performance of other related tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements and Necessary Skills:

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant professional experience
• Education in Civil Engineering
• Experience in deep foundation and excavation works
• Experience in arranging reinforced concrete structures
• Knowledge of foundation and basement waterproofing systems
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects in a similar position
• Ability to read and interpret structural and foundation drawings
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems, including membranes, waterstops, and key joint solutions
• Good knowledge of construction methods and work sequences
• Experience in coordinating several subcontractors in critical work processes
• Good knowledge of English and Georgian languages
• Knowledge of Russian or Turkish will be considered an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings
• Strong leadership, site management, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working on high-rise residential, investment, or mixed-use projects will be considered an advantage
• Reporting experience.
