The "8000 Vintages" wine shop/bar is announcing a vacancy for a Wine Consultant position in Tbilisi.

Who we are:

"8000 Vintages" is a Georgian wine shop/bar that features wines selected by an independent commission through blind tastings. Today, our collection includes around 2000 carefully chosen Georgian wines.

In our bar, visitors can buy wine at the store's shelf price and taste it with cold snacks that perfectly pair with the wine. The space is designed to make wine a thoughtful pleasure, not just a drink.

We actively host educational and thematic events aimed at increasing knowledge about wine and forming a proper wine drinking culture in society.

Our mission is to let as many people as possible taste and fall in love with good Georgian wine. Currently, "8000 Vintages" unites 6 shops/bars and an online store.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Providing consultations to customers about Georgian wine and offering individual recommendations;
• Assisting visitors in selecting wine according to their taste;
• Offering cold snacks paired with wine;
• Knowledge of the assortment presented in the store and product presentation;
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workspace.

Qualification requirements and personal characteristics:

• High interest in and basic knowledge of the Georgian wine sector;
• Good communication skills with customers;
• Focus on sales and positive customer experience;
• Sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team;
• Organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in an intensive work environment;
• Fluent in Georgian and English;
• Previous work experience in a similar field is desirable but not required.

Work schedule:

• Shift 1: Full, 5 days a week, 11:00-19:00 or 16:00-00:00 (Bags, Tskneti Highway branch)
• Shift 2: Part-time, 5 days a week, 11:00-17:00 (Saburtalo, Tsintsadze branch)
• Shift 3: Part-time, 5 days a week, 20:00-01:00 or 18:00-23:00 (Saburtalo, Tsintsadze branch)
• Shift 4: Full, 5 days a week, 17:00-01:00 (Saburtalo, Tsintsadze branch)
• Shift 5: Part-time, 4 days a week, 11:00-17:00 (Vake, Abashidze branch)
• Shift 6: Part-time, 5 days a week, 11:00-17:00 (Tabukashvili branch)
