Tourist agency "Visit Georgia" is a leading incoming tour operator in Georgia and South Caucasus, which has been operating on the market since 1997. In 2002, Visit Georgia Academy was established on the basis of Visit Georgia, where hundreds of professionals were trained and employed in the field of incoming tourism. Guide Training Course

Visit Georgia Academy offers a theoretical and practical guide training course. The goal of the course is for participants to fully master the skills of conducting tours, communicating correctly with travelers, and providing high-quality service.

Requirements:

Persons interested in the guide training course must meet the following criteria:

Knowledge of one foreign language (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean) at C1 level; knowledge of more than one foreign language will be considered an advantage during candidate selection Readiness to study (motivation and interest in professional development) Physical endurance (physical stamina and health suitable for guide activities are required) Fluent speech Ability to convey information correctly and communicate effectively with people

Course Information:

The course will start on December 15, 2026, and end on April 16, 2027.

The course includes:

26 lectures Individual seminars 10 on-site practical classes 6 intermediate and 1 final exams

Lectures will be held twice a week:

Tuesdays, 10:00-12:00 (2 hours) Fridays, 10:00-12:00 (2 hours)

The course will be taught in the Georgian language. The meeting place is Visit Georgia Academy, address: Ingorokva 4a

Additional Information

The tuition fee for the course will be covered by "Visit Georgia" tourist agency for selected candidates. Participants will be selected based on interviews.

Individual interviews with selected candidates will start on November 16.

Terms and Compensation

All graduates will be employed by our company during the 2027 tourist season (April - October). The compensation will be determined on a daily basis, depending on the number of days worked, and will be agreed upon with each candidate before the start of training.
