Construction Project Manager

Construction company "BK Construction" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Construction Project Manager.

Work location: Tbilisi

Work schedule: 09:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities:

• Organize, manage and coordinate the planning, implementation and completion process of construction projects in accordance with established goals, deadlines and requirements;

• Develop, periodically update and monitor the implementation of the project plan and relevant procedures;

• Manage the project budget, control costs and monitor compliance with the approved financial plan;

• Ensure that the activities provided for by the project are carried out within the established calendar schedule and, if necessary, plan corrective actions;

• Conduct negotiations with parties involved in the project, including contractors, designers, suppliers and other interested parties, and ensure effective communication;

• Organize, manage and monitor tender procedures, coordinate the process of selecting relevant contractors and service providers;

• Review, coordinate and monitor the work performed by designers (architects, structural engineers, engineers and other specialists) and ensure compliance with project requirements;

• Determine the necessary activities for each important phase of the project, plan the work and establish the deadlines required for their implementation;

• Supervise the progress of the construction project, monitor the quality of work performed, volumes and compliance with approved design documentation.

• Verify, coordinate and manage design documentation, plans, drawings and work volumes;

• Establish effective communication with contractors, designers and other parties involved in the project on issues related to the progress of the design phase;

• Identify technical, organizational and other issues identified within the project, coordinate with relevant parties and monitor their resolution;

• Manage and coordinate the process of completing construction work, preparing the facility and accepting the project;

• Prepare and submit to management various types of reports related to the project, including reports on work performed, deadlines, budget and existing issues.

Main requirements:

• Higher education in construction engineering, project management or a related field;

• At least 3-5 years of work experience in construction project management;

• Experience in managing construction project planning, implementation and completion processes;

• Ability to read and analyze construction documentation, design drawings and technical documentation;

• Experience in managing budget, calendar schedule and project resources;

• Experience working with contractors, designers, suppliers and other parties involved;

• Knowledge of tender procedures and procurement processes;

• Knowledge of construction standards and regulations

• High-level knowledge of MS Office, including Excel;

• Experience working with project management software (MS Project, Archicad, Autocad or other relevant programs).
