TOSGE Media is announcing a vacancy for a communicative, energetic, and confident Lead Journalist (including students) aged 18-25, for a youth media project and street interviews.

Main responsibilities:

  • Asking interesting, relevant, and young topics to passersby on the street;
  • Receiving extensive and interesting answers from at least 7-10 respondents per week - only "yes" or "no" answers are not sufficient;
  • Thinking of interesting topics and questions and agreeing on them in advance;
  • Recording a prologue before filming and an epilogue after filming on the relevant topic;
  • Communicating with respondents and working freely in front of the camera.

Working conditions:

  • Flexible schedule - one day a week (agreed);
  • Each filming takes approximately 2-4 hours (depending on the lead);
  • The position is compatible with other jobs or studies;
  • You are not required to edit the video.

Remuneration: 100 GEL per filming.

What do you need?

  • A smartphone for video recording (please specify the model);
  • Microphone and tripod.

If you don't have your own microphone or tripod, the company will provide the necessary equipment.

Qualification requirements:

  • Perfect knowledge of the Georgian language;
  • High communicativeness and confidence;
  • Willingness to start a conversation with strangers and interview them;
  • Ability to speak freely in front of the camera and express your thoughts clearly;
  • Responsibility, punctuality, and initiative;
  • Suitable and tidy appearance for working with the camera;
  • Knowledge of a foreign language will be considered an advantage, as you may encounter foreign respondents during interviews.

Experience is not mandatory.

How do we work?

Every week, you will come up with an interesting topic and send it to us for confirmation via email. After the topic is approved, you will start planning and implementing the filming.

During filming in public places, you will use a phone mounted on a tripod and a microphone, ask prepared questions to passersby, and record their interesting and detailed answers. You will also record the introduction and conclusion of the video yourself.

If you're interested, send us a short video in which you introduce yourself in Georgian and talk about why you're interested in this position. A presentation in a foreign language will be considered an additional advantage.

We look forward to you joining the TOSGE Media team!
