Nurse

"Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University" announces a selection for the position of Nurse.

Work location: Tbilisi, Kalistrate Kutateladze #3

Working hours: Both full-time and part-time positions are considered.

Full-time: 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 10:00-19:00.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to students and staff who become ill unexpectedly, provides primary medical care, and transfers them if necessary. The nurse is not authorized to intervene with medication; if necessary, emergency medical services should be called;
• Records in a special journal and maintains medical documentation for both students and staff;
• Ensures control of medical supplies and constantly updates them;
• Ensures the cleanliness of the medical room and the disinfection of medical items and tools;
• Constantly updates knowledge of medical news and takes care of personal and professional development;
• Performs various tasks within the scope of competence as instructed by the supervisor;
• Promotes and popularizes a healthy lifestyle among students and employees. Carries out relevant events at the university;
• Participates in the ongoing accreditation/authorization process at the university within the scope of own competence; (completing relevant questionnaires, processing information, providing timely delivery to persons responsible for coordinating the process, meeting with experts, interviews, participating in council meetings if necessary, etc.);
• Acts in accordance with the "Procedure for Ensuring Safety and Providing First Aid" of the University if necessary.

Qualification requirements:

• Education: Nursing qualification (students in the 4th year or higher of a medical program are also considered).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position (desirable);
• Knowledge of English (A2);
