Academic Manager - Mathematics Direction

"English Book Education" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Academic Manager (Mathematics Direction).

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday (09:00 - 18:00) Location: Tbilisi, Didi Dighomi, Vepkhistkaosni St. N92

Main Responsibilities:

• Visit partner private schools, constantly monitor the quality of the mathematics teaching process (Lesson Observation) according to established standards and evaluation criteria;
• Evaluate mathematics lessons based on established rubrics and quality standards, and produce objective, evidence-based records during the observation process;
• Provide constructive, professional oral and written feedback to teachers;
• Prepare timely observation results and relevant documentation, and monitor teacher progress;
• Effective collaboration with partner private schools and coordination of academic issues;
• Participate in the preparation/update of teaching resources, methodological materials, and assessment instruments together with the direct supervisor;
• Participate in organizing training, working meetings, and professional development activities for teachers;
• Constantly update databases of mathematics teachers;
• Coordinate the daily activities of the academic team and evaluate results;
• Protect and promote the company's academic policy, standards, and procedures;
• Participate in planning and implementing professional development activities (workshops, consultations, mentoring) for teachers if needed;
• Periodic reporting to the direct supervisor

Requirements:

• Education - Bachelor's degree in Education, Pedagogy, or a related field (Master's degree will be considered an advantage);
• Language Competence:

• English language proficiency at least at B2+/C1 level;
• Fluent in Georgian

• Work Experience:

• Desirable experience in a similar field - mathematics teaching;
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or working as a trainer for teachers will be considered an advantage;
• Experience in observing lessons and providing professional feedback (desirable);

• Ability to objectively evaluate lessons;
• Knowledge of mathematics teaching methodology;
• Analytical and critical thinking;
• Effective time management skills;
• Detail-oriented;
• Ability to quickly adapt to new things;
• Knowledge of office programs (MS Office)
