The main responsibility of this position is to effectively manage the department's activities, organize the team's work, and ensure the quality of AML/CFT processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, and managing the department's activities and team;
• Organizing the AML Check process and controlling its quality;
• Reviewing AML/CFT monitoring scenarios, assessing their effectiveness, and initiating improvements;
• Reviewing complex and non-standard cases and preparing relevant recommendations when necessary;
• Identifying systemic shortcomings and risks in AML/CFT processes and initiating their improvement;
• Analyzing the department's performance results and preparing relevant information and recommendations for management;
• Promoting the professional development of department employees;
• Ensuring cooperation and coordination with other structural units on AML/CFT issues.

Qualification requirements:

• Experience in AML/CFT, Compliance, or the financial sector;
• Good knowledge of AML/CFT legislation and the National Bank of Georgia's requirements;
• Knowledge of AML monitoring and risk assessment processes;
• Strong analytical and managerial skills;
• Ability and experience in team management and complex case analysis.
