Medical World has been operating on the market since 2003 and has since been actively involved in importing medical equipment across Georgia. The company Medical World also owns one of the largest laboratory networks in Georgia, known as Medical World Laboratory. Medical World Spa & Wellness represents another direction of the company, focused on importing high-quality spa and wellness equipment. As of July this year, Medical 11, an emergency medical center, has joined the Medical World holding, which is a branch of the German emergency center in Georgia.

Medical World Laboratory announces a vacancy for the position of Laboratory General Manager.

Location: Tbilisi, Luarysab Andronikashvili st. N3 Work schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00 Salary: From 2500 GEL, depending on experience.

Functions and responsibilities: - Overall management of the company's activities and determination of strategic directions; - Ensuring effective functioning of the central laboratory and 14 regional branches across Georgia; - Managing, developing and controlling the performance of employees and the management team; - Overall supervision of purchasing, inventory, logistics and infrastructure; - Managing effective relationships with partners, key clients and other interested parties; - Ensuring sustainable development of the organization, process optimization and revenue growth. - Effective planning of human resources and coordination of ensuring the necessary staff in the regions; - Ensuring effective distribution of financial and material resources and optimization of costs; - Ensuring effective communication and cooperation between the central office and regional branches; - Controlling the quality of services, patient satisfaction and compliance with company standards; - Ensuring compliance with quality management, internal regulations and current requirements; - Preparing regular reports, analysis and development recommendations for the company's management; - Ensuring the implementation of the company's short-term and long-term business goals. - Managing, coordinating and controlling the activities of regional branches; - Developing a strategy for expanding the regional network, introducing new services and development; - Quick identification of challenges in the regions and making appropriate decisions; - Managing, evaluating and developing the activities of branch leaders;

Key Requirements: - Higher education in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management or a related field; - At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably in a multi-branch organization; - Experience in managing regional branches/networks will be considered a significant advantage; - Experience working in the healthcare, medical services or laboratory field will be considered an advantage; - Experience in business development, sales, revenue and expense management; - Ability to frequently travel to regions and monitor branches; - Good knowledge of office programs, especially Excel; - Perfect knowledge of the Georgian language; knowledge of English and/or Russian will be considered an advantage; - B category driver's license and active driving experience will be considered an advantage.

Personal Qualities: - Ability to plan strategically and make quick decisions; - Strong leadership and team management skills; - High sense of responsibility, organization and result orientation; - Developed communication and negotiation skills; - Ability to identify and effectively solve problems; - Ability to frequently travel to regions and monitor branches;
