Main Information:

• Position: Head of Technical Maintenance Department

• Location: Tbilisi, Saburtalo, Levani Gotua st. №8

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00

• Salary: According to qualification and experience

Position Purpose:

To ensure the smooth, safe and continuous functioning of the enterprise's engineering systems, technical devices, production and laboratory equipment and premises; to manage technical maintenance processes and lead the engineering and technical team, taking into account the requirements of quality management and pharmaceutical production.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage, improve and optimize the processes of technical maintenance of the enterprise;
• Lead the engineering and technical team, plan, distribute and control the performance of work;
• Ensure the smooth functioning of production and laboratory equipment, engineering systems and premises;
• Organize planned and unplanned maintenance, inspection and repair works of technical devices and systems;
• Assess technical malfunctions and risks, plan preventive and corrective actions;
• Coordinate and control the processes of installation, qualification and commissioning of equipment and engineering systems;
• Develop technical maintenance procedures, work instructions and schedules, ensure the production of technical records and reports;
• Manage control and measuring tools, metrological control and monitoring processes;
• Collaborate with external service providers and equipment manufacturers, control the quality of performed works;
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department in the process of managing deviations, non-conformities and corrective actions;
• Manage stocks of spare parts and consumables and ensure technical training of personnel.

Qualification Requirements:

Higher education in technical, engineering-technological, pharmaceutical or life sciences; Master's degree is desirable;

At least 5 years of experience in technical maintenance, engineering, technical service or a related field, including at least 3 years in a managerial position;

Practical experience working with engineering systems, installations and automated systems;

Knowledge of office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CAD programs;

English and Russian language skills at least at B2 level.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working in a pharmaceutical enterprise;

Practical experience working with pharmaceutical production systems and installations;

Knowledge of GMP and quality management system requirements.

Ability to plan and organize work processes;
