Position Overview The company "Achar Energy-2007" is looking for a qualified operational engineer (shift duty engineer) or technician to join our team. In this shift-based position, you will be responsible for monitoring the SCADA system of our operating hydroelectric power plant, managing alarms, and controlling electricity generation. Your main focus will be on the overall automation of the station (DCS), routine checks of devices, daily control of the facility, performing safe low/medium/high voltage switching operations, and maximizing the efficiency of the station while strictly adhering to safety rules. We are looking for an adaptive candidate with medium-level experience who is open to learning, accurately executes instructions from superiors, strictly adheres to station procedures, and possesses strong communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities The Operational Engineer (Shift Duty Engineer) / Technician is responsible for: - Monitoring the station's operation, DCS, and network parameters in real-time during shifts. - Immediately managing, recording, and responding to station alarms and system discrepancies. - Performing safe low, medium, and high voltage electrical switching operations according to established protocols. - Conducting regular physical control and routine checks of station devices onsite. - Accurately maintaining daily operational activity logs, hourly shift journals, and generation data. - Ensuring a smooth, detailed, and professional handover process at the end of each shift. - Immediately notifying superiors of technical malfunctions, accident risks, and technical service needs. - Acting in accordance with emergency procedures during network outages, floods, or equipment emergency shutdowns. - Accurately executing instructions from superiors and strictly adhering to station operational procedures. - Maintaining clear and clean communication with team members and senior personnel. - Strictly adhering to labor safety, health (OHS), and environmental regulations. - Supporting technical teams during planned outages or station restarts. - Performing any other operational tasks as needed.

Core Competencies - Technical skills in hydroelectric power plant automation (DCS/SCADA) and operation. - Ability to learn technically and adapt to changing schedules. - Strong discipline in performing precise professional instructions and station operating procedures. - Knowledge of Turkish language and minimum B1/B2 level of English for effective oral and written communication. - Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, respond correctly in crisis situations, and communicate clearly and accurately with management. - Quick problem-solving skills and short response time in case of station alarms or emergency situations. - High situational awareness related to electrical and mechanical risks. - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. - High attention to detail during routine checks and shift data recording. - Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management skills necessary for shift rotations.

Qualifications - Higher education in hydro energy, electrical and electronic engineering, energy engineering, or a professional college diploma in automation/electrotechnology. - At least 2 years of operational experience working in power plants (preferably in hydroelectric power plants). - Practical experience in SCADA/DCS monitoring and real-time alarm management. - Proven ability to perform safe electrical maneuvers (switching) at low/medium/high voltage. - Strong communication skills and knowledge of MS Office programs for accurate shift data recording and reporting. - Valid certificate of electrical safety qualification group in accordance with Georgian labor and energy safety regulations (minimum level 3, preferably level 4 or senior), or willingness to renew/ recertify if the previous certificate has expired. - Valid driving license (considered a significant advantage). - Ability and willingness to work in a continuous 12-hour rotating shift schedule (09:00-21:00 and 21:00-09:00).

Working Conditions - Continuous shift work with a 12-hour rotation schedule (day shift: 09:00 - 21:00 / night shift: 21:00 - 09:00), including weekends and holidays. - Overtime may be required based on operational needs. - On-site based role, which requires physical movement for routine station checks.
