New City Development announces a vacancy for the position of Architect - Architectural Planning and Working Drawings
Position Purpose Functional planning of buildings and territory, development of architectural projects and preparation of accurate, coordinated working documentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Territory and building planning: planning the placement of buildings, transportation and pedestrian connections, access roads and parking; development of floor plans, functional zones, staircase-elevator cores, corridors and service spaces.
- Preparation of architectural drawings: processing plans, sections, facades and relevant details; preparation of permit, tender and construction drawing packages in accordance with the agreed design stage.
- Technical detailing and modeling: creation and updating of BIM models; processing facades, balconies, terraces, roofs, openings and architectural connection nodes; preparation of area tables, door-window records and relevant specifications.
- Coordination and quality control: collaboration with the exterior team, structural engineers and engineering specialists; identification and correction of discrepancies; reflection of approved changes, management of drawing versions and revisions.
Qualification Requirements
- Higher education in the field of architecture and preferably at least 5 years of experience in architectural planning and preparation of working documentation. Experience working on multi-story, high-rise, hotel or residential projects will be considered an advantage.
- Strong practical knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM modeling programs - Revit or Archicad. Understanding of functional planning, building layout, architectural detailing and coordination with engineering disciplines is essential.
- Ability to prepare working drawings independently, accuracy, responsibility, deadline compliance and English language skills at the level of international team collaboration.
