The board first, quick picks, and a workspace of your own
Nine thousand live listings is a lot to read, and until today the home page made you scroll past a wall of tiles before you saw the first one. Now the board comes first. The first listing sits on the first screen, on a phone as much as on a desk. Listings are grouped by day, Today, Yesterday, This week, so you can tell at a glance what is new, and what was posted here on findjobs.ge this week stands above the listings we mirror from elsewhere. Pages are numbered, a button loads twenty more in place, and the page itself weighs about half of what it did, so it opens faster on a slow connection.
Above the fields and cities there is a new row we call quick picks: Posted today, Remote, No experience needed, English-speaking, Part-time, and 1500 lari and up. Each is one tap, each shows how many listings it holds right now, and they stack with everything else, so "remote, English-speaking, in IT" is three taps and one search. The counts are live, not decorative: the number on the chip is the number you get.
Two of those picks come from reading every listing's own words. When a listing says that experience is not required, in Georgian, English or Russian, it is marked so, and the same for listings that ask for English. Every listing already on the board was read this way, more than two thousand ask for English and close to two hundred welcome people without experience, and every new listing is read the moment it arrives.
There is also a pick called For you. It appears once the site knows which fields you look at: the fields you have applied in when you are signed in, or the fields of the listings you have opened on this phone or computer. That memory is a small note kept on your own device, nothing more, and you can ignore the chip entirely.
Under the search box the assistant now has a proper door. Tell us what you are looking for, in your own words and in any language, and it opens the conversation with your words already sent. The search box itself shows what it understands: leave it empty for a moment and it suggests real sentences, "evening work in Batumi, from 1200", instead of waiting for keywords.
Your account became a workspace. If you are looking for work, findjobs.ge/me shows every application with the stage it has reached, sent, opened by the employer, replied, interview, together with what your profile still lacks and the one thing worth doing next. If you are hiring, the overview at findjobs.ge/account opens with your numbers, and the applicant desk sorts everyone who applied into new, shortlisted, interview, on hold and declined, one screen for the whole company. Posting a vacancy is three steps with a live preview, and the form tells you what similar listings on the board pay before you type a number.
Signing in got shorter. If you already have a passkey here, one tap and Face ID or your fingerprint is the whole sign-in: no email, no code. Passkeys used to be the second step after the code; for people coming back they are now the only step. First-time sign-ins still start with a code to your email, so nobody can create an account in your name.
A milestone, with the numbers exactly as Cloudflare, the network that sits in front of the site, measured them. In the thirty days to 2 September, 10,484 unique visitors came to findjobs.ge, and the site served about 122,000 pages. On launch day, 5 August, 240 people visited; in the last week it has been between a thousand and 1,647 a day. The counter on the listings themselves, the one the 29 August post quoted at 54,000, now stands at 88,647 opens. Still small next to boards that have been here for years, and every figure here is the measured one, not a rounded-up one.
Version 1.2 of the iPhone app carries the same board, the same workspace and the same passkey door, and is on its way through App Store review as this is written. And one more thing, stamped on the front page now so nobody has to wonder: findjobs.ge is free for everyone. Posting, applying, alerts, the assistant, the app. There is nothing here to pay for.
