Accountant

"DESIGN MALL" is a design and repair materials mall in Tbilisi, where you can select repair materials, furniture, and decor in one space, as well as receive services from professional designers and architects.

We are looking for a qualified, responsible, and detail-oriented accountant to effectively implement current and planned activities, who will join our professional team.

Position: Accountant Workplace: Tbilisi Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time: 10:00-19:00 (1 hour break) Salary: 3000-3500 GEL per month, considering the candidate's qualifications and professional experience.

Main responsibilities:

• Recording daily accounting operations of the company in the accounting system, based on primary documentation;
• Recording acceptance and transfer acts of work performed by contractors, deducting advances and controlling detained amounts for each contractor;
• Recording receipt, write-off, and expenses of construction materials by objects, projects, and expense items;
• Recording import operations, including customs declarations, customs duties, and import VAT;
• Recording exchange rate differences arising from foreign currency liabilities;
• Controlling the correctness and accuracy of data entered by operators into the accounting system;
• Recording bank accounts, cash, and terminal operations and comparing them with bank statements;
• Monitoring and controlling B2B clients' receivables;
• Comparing balances of mutual settlements with suppliers, contractors, and buyers;
• Accrual of employee salaries, calculation of income tax and pension contributions;
• Preparation and submission of monthly tax declarations;
• Control of electronic invoices and commodity invoices on the revenue service portal (rs.ge), including checking the taxpayer's personal account card;
• Recording fixed assets, including machinery and equipment, and accrual of depreciation;
• Participation in month-end accounting procedures;
• Preparation and organization of accounting and financial documentation for audit.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics;
• At least 2-3 years of experience as an accountant; experience in construction or import will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting principles;
• Practical experience in working with RS.ge, including tax declarations, electronic invoices, and invoices;
• Knowledge of settlements with contractors, advances, detained amounts, and receivables and payables;
• Knowledge of import operations, inventories, and fixed assets accounting;
• Knowledge of accounting programs (ORIS, 1C, or others);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and as a team, analytical thinking, and meeting deadlines.
