Geodesist

HR outsourcing company "One Point" is announcing a vacancy for a Geodesist position for a partner company.

• Work Schedule: 5-6 days a week, 40 hours

• Subordination: The position reports to the Project Senior Managers

• Reports to: Company contractors / subcontractors and Geodesist assistant.

Position description:

• The Geodesist will be responsible for the complete and high-accuracy execution of geodesic works on construction sites. The position includes the marking of design axes and benchmarks, control of excavation volumes, measurement of the actual situation, preparation of As-built drawings, and monitoring of the adjacent territory if necessary.

Key functions and responsibilities:

• Marking of design axes, trench trajectories, and benchmarks (reference points) from base points

• Conducting measurements before and after excavation works

• Preparation of excavation work cartograms and confirmation of executed volumes

• Measurement of the actual state of trenches and pits and preparation of As-built drawings

• Observation of deformations of buildings and roads in the adjacent territory if necessary, arrangement of monitoring points, and periodic reporting

• Processing, analysis of geodesic data, and preparation of relevant documentation

• Timely identification and resolution of geodesic and measurement issues arising during the construction process

• Control of the compliance of works performed by contractors and subcontractors with design data

• Performance of other related tasks as instructed by the supervisor

Qualification requirements and necessary skills:

• Higher or professional education in land management, civil engineering, or related fields

• At least 5 years of work experience in a Geodesist position

• Experience working in real estate development or construction will be considered an advantage

• Proficiency in geodesic instruments (GPS, total station, level) and practical experience in their use

• High-level knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, or other relevant software

• Knowledge of Georgian legislation, norms, and standards in land surveying

• Ability to process and analyze measurement data

• Physical endurance required for field work

• Driver's license and own vehicle will be considered an advantage

• English language proficiency at least B2 level
