Production Manager

"G&A Group" is a Georgian company that successfully operates in the food production, logistics, and distribution fields. The company's brands include "Rera", "Hinda", "Nobati", which offer high-quality frozen semi-finished products and other products to customers.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented manager who has practical experience in production management exclusively in the food industry and directly manages a production team of at least 40 employees.

Main responsibilities:

• Full management and control of the daily production process at the enterprise;
• Development of the production plan, ensuring its timely and complete implementation;
• Planning of efficient loading of production lines, shifts, and employees;
• Managing a production team of 40+ employees, including coordination of shift supervisors and team leaders;
• Constant monitoring of production volume, productivity, and workforce efficiency;
• Control of raw material consumption, losses, and waste;
• Analysis and optimization of production factors affecting product cost;
• Ensuring strict adherence to recipes and technological processes together with the technological service;
• Close cooperation with the quality and food safety service;
• Ensuring compliance with sanitary, hygienic, and food safety requirements;
• Ensuring labor and technological discipline in production;
• Managing, evaluating, developing, and planning necessary resources for production personnel;
• Coordination with the technical service to ensure proper operation of equipment and planned maintenance;
• Daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of production indicators and reporting to management;
• Initiating and implementing projects to increase production efficiency and reduce losses.

Key KPI's:

• Production plan fulfillment;
• Production productivity, kg/man-hour;
• Raw material yield;
• Level of losses and waste;
• Product defect rate;
• Labor costs per unit of production;
• Efficient loading of production lines;
• Timely fulfillment of orders;
• Production discipline and team efficiency.

Mandatory qualification requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership position in a food industry production company;

• Experience in directly managing a production team of at least 40 employees;

• Practical knowledge of technological and operational processes in food production;

• Experience in production planning and KPI management;

• Ability to analyze productivity, losses, and self-cost;

• Experience working with quality and food safety requirements in production;

• Strong managerial and organizational skills;

• Good knowledge of working with Excel and production reporting systems.

Important: Production experience gained in another industry will not be considered without relevant leadership experience in the food industry.

The following will be considered an advantage:

• Experience in the production of frozen or semi-finished food products;

• Experience in the production of meat products, bakery products, or similar mass food production;

• Practical experience working with HACCP / ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 systems;

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, or other production efficiency systems.
