Pastry Demi Chef

Restaurant "Iakobi's Yard" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Pastry Demi Chef in the pastry shop.

Main responsibilities:

• Food preparation and production

• Preparation of dishes according to established recipes and standards;

• Preliminary preparation of ingredients (mise en place);

• Proper processing, cutting, preparation, and storage of products;

• Performance of work process in agreement with the responsible chef;

• Quality control, visual appearance, and portioning of dishes.

Support for kitchen operations:

• Execution of tasks assigned by the chef and sauce chef;

• Assistance in a specific kitchen section

• Ensuring fast and efficient work during busy hours;

• Participation in preparing orders on time and correctly.

Quality and standards compliance:

• Compliance with hotel culinary standards;

• Control of taste, temperature, and presentation of dishes;

• Reducing food waste;

• Compliance with HACCP and food safety rules.

Hygiene and safety:

• Constant control of workplace cleanliness;

• Proper use of kitchen inventory and equipment;

• Compliance with sanitary norms;

• Participation in controlling product storage periods and temperature regimes.

Teamwork:

• Effective collaboration with the kitchen team;

• Communication with waiters and other departments when necessary;

• Assistance in introducing new employees to the work process;

• Desire for professional development and learning new techniques.

Requirements for the candidate:

Mandatory:

• Experience working in a kitchen;

• Professional culinary knowledge;
