Business Development Manager

As a market leader, we continuously develop our business lending products to provide fast and accessible financing for small and medium businesses. We bring pricing, credit decisioning and digital disbursement together into one seamless lending journey, built in close collaboration between business, risk, and technology teams.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Business Lending Tribe at JSC Bank of Georgia. In this role, you will own the business side of SME lending products, from idea generation and pricing to launch, sales rollout, and continuous improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams.

What you will do

• Generate and initiate new product ideas and improvements;

• Own product pricing: interest rates, fees, terms, and profitability analysis;

• Prepare and update product documentation, terms, and procedures;

• Analyze the market, competitors, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities;

• Understand customer pain points and translate them into clear, measurable business requirements;

• Validate the final scope to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs;

• Work with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Compliance on process validation and regulatory requirements;

• Own initiatives end-to-end: plan timelines, manage dependencies across teams, and ensure on-time delivery;

• Lead product launch and sales rollout, including preparation of sales channels and branches;

• Monitor product performance (portfolio, conversion, profitability) and drive continuous improvement.

What you have

• 3+ years of experience in business development, product management, or sales in banking or financial services;

• Strong knowledge of SME lending products and credit processes;

• Strategic thinking, ownership, and a strong focus on business results;

• Strong project management skills: ability to plan and drive initiatives end-to-end, from idea to launch and post-launch results;

• Proven ability to take full ownership and manage timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple teams;

• Ability to see the big picture and anticipate risks before launch;

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills;

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt quickly to changing priorities;

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Jira and Confluence (BI tools are a plus).
