The main functions of the University's Legal Support Service are: - Preparation of draft legal acts of the University; - Legal expertise of draft legal acts prepared by structural units of the University; - Legal support of the activities of structural units of the University; - Counseling of structural units, students and academic staff of the University on legal issues related to educational activities; - Preparation of responses to incoming letters and applications, and legal expertise of responses and correspondence prepared by other structural units, as instructed by the Rector of the University; - Representation of the University's interests in court and administrative bodies; - Development of draft legal acts of the University and legal support of the activities of auxiliary structural units; - Preparation of conclusions on draft legal acts developed and submitted by the Academy and other bodies, organizations and institutions, within its competence; - Ensuring the compliance of the University's individual administrative-legal acts with normative acts having superior legal force; - Performance of other tasks assigned by the Rector.
