Junior Accountant

"Gastronome Group" unites a network of gourmet stores and restaurants with different concepts.

The company has been successfully positioned since 2019. Its business concept in the food industry is to develop gastronomic knowledge and taste for the public. Gastronome Group is represented by 8 branches of the premium delicatessen store Gastronome, 3 restaurants - Italian Bistro and Argentine Steakhouse, and Brunch with a healthy menu.

We are looking for an employee for the Junior Accountant position at "Gastronome".

Main responsibilities:

• Daily bank statement processing;
• Recognition of purchased materials as expenses in accordance with accounting policies;
• Write-off of used inventory for completed work;
• Accounting for services provided by subcontractors, recognition as finished production or expenses in accordance with accounting policies;
• Accounting for operational administrative expenses;
• Payroll expense accounting and accrual of payroll liabilities on payroll cards, in accordance with monthly payroll reports;
• Accounting (accrual and write-off) of transactions on accountable persons' accounting cards and constant monitoring of cards;
• Recognition of income for the settlement period (month) based on the performance confirmed by customers;
• Accounting for bank and leasing liabilities;
• Ensuring monthly regular accounting transactions, such as depreciation, amortization, currency conversion, and others.
• Accounting for currency conversion operations
• Control of primary accounting documents, such as acceptance and transfer acts, agreements, cash receipt and expenditure orders, etc.
• Performance of current tasks of the Chief Accountant in accordance with agreed deadlines and priorities.

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance
• At least 2 years of work experience in this position
• Conversational English
• Computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel

Desirable:

• Knowledge of ACCA will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting software Dynamics 365 will be considered an advantage
