Backend Developer (Node.Js) with German

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (Node.js) to build scalable server-side solutions for global projects across fintech, healthcare, retail, and other industries in a distributed international team. Responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js. - Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints. - Implementing business logic and server-side integrations. - Working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), including data modeling and query optimization. - Integrating third-party services and external APIs. - Ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability. - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Implementing security best practices, including authentication and authorization. - Participating in code reviews and improving code quality standards. - Collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members. - Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving backend issues. - Supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements: - Experience as a Backend Developer (NodeJs) for 2+ years. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript. - Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. - Understanding of asynchronous programming and Node.js internals. - Experience with NestJS and/or Express.js. - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/Redis). - Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security basics. - Experience with Git, code reviews, and team-based development. - Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD. - Experience writing unit and integration tests. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. - Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to have: - Experience with front-end development (React or Angular). - Familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.

Compensation: 2500–5000 EUR per month.
