Project Manager in Electrical and Automation

"Haniel Cement" has been operating in Georgia since 2006 and is a leading brand in the local cement and concrete market. The company owns cement plants in Kaspi and Rustavi, as well as a cement mill in Poti and a cement terminal in Supsa. "Haniel Cement" is the sole clinker producer in Georgia. The country's first concrete plant was launched in 2009. Currently, "Haniel Cement" operates 15 concrete plants.

"Haniel Cement" is announcing a vacancy for a Project Manager position in the Electrical and Automation department.

Work location: According to projects. Work schedule: 09:00-18:00 or 10:00-19:00, Monday through Friday. Number of vacant positions: 1

Main responsibilities:

Planning and management of projects initiated in the electrical and automation direction to ensure timely completion, budget, and required quality; Assisting other project managers in planning, administration, and management of the electrical and automation parts of their projects; Constant communication with the energy services of the plants, monitoring the technical condition of the plants' electrical economy, and initiating necessary projects; Direct participation in the preparation of tender documentation for electrical and automation works, selection of contractors, and monitoring of contractors' work performance in terms of cost, time, and quality; Coordination of the design process for projects initiated in the electrical and automation direction, verification of final drawings and schemes, and transfer of final documentation to the plant's energy service at the end of the project; Regular checking of work processes, control of compliance of performed works with project documentation, control of safety rules on site, and control of work progress according to the plan-schedule; Evaluation of installation works and provision of relevant instructions for coordination of mechanical and electrical aspects of construction and installation; Compliance with health protection and labor safety rules provided by the company's internal regulations and legislation; Resolution of global issues related to the energy sector and reporting to management; Management of electrical engineers of contractor companies, organization and monitoring of their daily activities; Preparation of current project status reports; Performance of other manager's instructions within the competence.

Qualification requirements and skills:

Higher education in the field of energy; Knowledge of English; Computer program knowledge; Detail-oriented; Communicative; Quick thinking.
