General Manager

A international hotel chain is starting operations in Georgia and is looking for an experienced General Manager for a 200+ room hotel.

Location: Tbilisi

Remuneration: from 6,000 GEL (NET), depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Full management of the hotel's daily operational activities and effective coordination of departments;
• Ensuring high-quality service and brand standards;
• Managing and monitoring financial results, budget, revenue, expenses, and key KPI's;
• Identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization and implementing relevant measures;
• Working on increasing ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and market share;
• Managing sales, marketing, and distribution channels in coordination with relevant teams;
• Leading department heads and teams, assessing, developing, and motivating them;
• Managing guest satisfaction, feedback, and complaints, and implementing measures to improve service;
• Controlling operational and financial risks, adhering to internal procedures and safety standards;
• Managing effective relationships with owners, partners, and key stakeholders;
• Preparing and presenting regular reports on operational and financial results.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 5 years of managerial experience in the hotel industry;
• Experience working in a branded hotel will be considered an advantage;
• Experience in implementing innovative products and technological solutions, and openness to new ideas;
• Proficiency in English and Russian is required;
• High-level proficiency in office software.
