We are looking for a Steward/Kitchenware Washer to join our team and help ensure the cleanliness, hygiene and smooth operation of the kitchen.

The Steward/Kitchenware Washer's responsibilities and main job functions include: Consistently provide professional, friendly and proactive service while supporting colleagues

Work with dishwashing machines Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand Sort dishes Polish cutlery Ensure that kitchen/service and banqueting colleagues have all necessary inventory/ dishes Safely store, sort and categorize clean work inventory Ensure that all broken and damaged items are removed from the workflow and recorded Ensure that all equipment is in a clean condition and that disinfection procedures are carried out regularly Ensure that workspaces are always clean and tidy. Return unused dishes to their original place or storage Use caution and follow proper procedures when cleaning floors according to the training module Clean ovens, grills, walls, hoods, floor drains, grease traps and other kitchen equipment Clean and sweep the entire kitchen area Sort and dispose of trash in designated areas and clean trash cans Clean greasy items and trays Have full knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning agents, including their use, proper storage and handling procedures, as well as correct use of tools related to the position. Ensure that floors are always dry and clean Comply with departmental rules, procedures and service standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position is desirable

• Punctuality and responsibility

• Ability to work in a team
