Intern - Import Manager

LLC "Palati" was founded in 2022. The company's high-tech production responds to engineering requirements of any complexity in the construction and furniture production fields. Palati's partners include successful companies from America and Europe, and exports are carried out with international certification and quality control. The company's main driving force is the combined effort of around 400 professionals and shared values.

The company "Palati" is looking for a motivated candidate who wants to get acquainted with import processes in practice, get involved in international purchases, and gain experience in collaborating with foreign suppliers.

Job conditions:

**Position: Intern - Import Manager **Workplace:** Rustavi, G. Mazniashvili St. #4 **Work format:** On-site **Internship duration:** 5 months **Work schedule:** 5 days a week, 09:00 -18:00 **Remuneration:** 500 GEL per month (paid in hand)

What will you learn during the internship?

**Searching for suppliers in international markets, assessing their reliability, and comparing offers; **Determining purchasing needs and planning orders; **Conducting business communication with suppliers and negotiating prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions; **Analyzing commercial offers and agreeing on purchasing conditions; **Preparing purchase orders and contracts, as well as monitoring their execution; **Researching price changes and international market trends; **Evaluating different transportation alternatives and comparing logistics company offers; **Planning sea and land transportation and coordinating cargo movement; **Processing import documentation and basic principles of customs procedures; **Analyzing transportation costs, tariffs, and delivery terms; **Systematizing purchasing-related information and preparing reports.

Who are we looking for:

A candidate who:

• You are a final-year student or a recent graduate in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field;

• You have proficiency in English and/or Russian;

• You are skilled in MS Office applications, particularly Excel;

• You are interested in international trade, purchasing, and logistics;

• You are focused on employment with the company after completing the internship and long-term cooperation.
