Phlebotomist

Raymann Clinic is announcing a vacancy for the position of Phlebotomist,

Main functions and responsibilities

• Safe collection of analytical material for laboratory research, both at home and in the clinic, specifically:
• Phlebotomy, venous blood collection;
• Capillary blood collection.
• Processing, transportation, and supervision of pre- and post-analytical processes of the collected material;
• Collection and processing of other biological materials as needed;
• Production of medical documentation;
• Medical activity in accordance with protocols and standard operating procedures implemented in the clinic;
• Compliance with quality and safety standards available in the clinic, within the scope of competence;
• Maintenance/operation of laboratory inventory, personal protective equipment, and devices;
• Performance of various tasks related to the activity.

Qualification requirements

• Secondary or higher medical education;
• At least 1 year of experience working as a phlebotomist and good knowledge of phlebotomy skills;
• Experience working with children aged 0-6 years;
• Experience with vacuum systems for venous blood collection; (will be considered an advantage)
• At least 1 year of experience working in intensive therapy or critical medicine, or resuscitation. (will be considered an advantage)

Knowledge, skills

• Knowledge of basic life-saving methods (BLS training);
• English language skills;
• User-level knowledge of office programs;
• Knowledge of laboratory pre-analytical processes.
• Teamwork and collegiality;
• Time management;
• Communication skills, punctuality, and organization;
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking.

Working conditions: Work schedule: 40 working hours per week;
