Driver

LLC "Georgian Packaging" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Driver.

The company is located in Tbilisi, Didi Dighomi, Archil Mepis 1.

LLC "Georgian Packaging" has been producing food packaging materials, paper cups for hot and cold beverages, bread and bakery product packages, and various types of boxes since 2016.

The company operates within the framework of the food safety certification scheme FSSC 22000.

Responsibilities:

• Driving the vehicle and transporting products on time and safely;
• Participating in the unloading process of products delivered to the customer, if necessary, and supervising the integrity of the cargo;
• Controlling the technical condition and cleanliness of the vehicle;
• Properly preparing travel and transport documentation.

The driver is obliged:

• To follow traffic rules and labor safety requirements;
• To use personal protective equipment when required;
• To follow sanitary and hygienic norms defined by food safety standards.

Qualification requirements:

• Valid category C driving license (truck);
• Category E driving license (if semi-trailer or trailer);
• At least 3 years of experience as a driver;
• Experience in transporting goods within the city and regions;
• Experience in using a tachograph and knowledge of working and rest time rules;
• Driver qualification (professional competence) certificate;
• Appropriate health condition and obligatory medical examination according to the order of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Protection of Georgia No. 215/n of July 11, 2007;
• Knowledge of traffic rules;
• Ability to check basic technical condition of the vehicle and eliminate minor faults;
• Ability to use GPS/navigation;
• Good knowledge of Tbilisi and Georgia roads;
• Knowledge of corporate ethics and discipline requirements.

Job-related requirements:

• Ability to work without absences and flexibility with loading and delivery schedules;
• Willingness to travel within Georgia;
• Prohibition of using alcohol and narcotic substances during work.

• Responsibility and punctuality;
• Care for cargo and vehicle;
• Communication with clients and warehouse employees;
• Discipline;
• Non-conflict;
• Ability to adapt quickly to the work environment.

It will be considered an advantage:

• Experience in transporting goods related to food or packaging materials;

Working conditions and schedule:

• Work schedule: 6-day workweek;
• Salary: NET 1500 GEL during the probation period;
• Free health insurance after the probation period;
