Organization FHI 360, within the framework of the project "EpiC Georgia" funded by the US government, announces a vacancy for the position of National Laboratory Strategy Specialist.
The consultant's main task is to lead the development process of Georgia's National Laboratory Strategy (2026-2030) and its implementation action plan. This initiative aims to restore and strengthen the functioning of the multisectoral laboratory technical working group (TWG). The consultant must closely cooperate with the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Lugar Center, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, State Laboratory of Agriculture and other international partners.
The selected specialist will be responsible for organizing and facilitating 4 technical working meetings/seminars from October 2026 to May 2027, analyzing existing assessments and gaps, as well as preparing the final version of the strategic document and action plan/roadmap.
The work format is hybrid (on-site meetings in Tbilisi and remote work), with a total duration of up to 30 working days, from October 2026 to the end of May 2027.

The candidate is required to have a master's degree or equivalent in laboratory medicine, public health, microbiology, or related fields, at least 10 years of experience working in laboratory systems and healthcare policy, as well as perfect knowledge of Georgian and English languages.
