Baxwood School - Tbilisi is announcing a vacancy for the position of Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year at the Gelovani / Tskneti campus.

Baxwood International School was established in 2000 as the International School of the United Nations Association in Tbilisi. In 2007, the school moved to Upper Tskneti, where it received the name of Baxwood School in 2009. Thus, the first educational space in Georgia was created, based on the traditional British educational model, which already has 26 years of experience in the field of education.

Since 2023, a new campus of Baxwood School has been operating in Gelovani.

Competition rules and stages: - The first stage involves the selection of presented documentation according to qualification requirements; - The second stage will involve an interview with the head of the department; - At the third stage, an interview with the school's academic director and HR / Development Manager - During the competition, the school will proactively contact only the candidate who has moved to the next stage. - After the competition, any applicant has the right to request information about the results in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia.

Qualification requirements Education: - Higher education in the relevant profile subject area (bachelor's or master's degree) or in the field of educational sciences; - A certificate confirming the completion of a teacher training program (60-credit course or integrated master's program) or the relevant status established by law (senior, leading or mentor teacher).

Work experience: - At least 1-2 years of experience as a teacher of the relevant subject in the educational sector (experience working in an international school will be considered an advantage); - In the case of a beginner teacher, experience of successfully completing school practice or internship.

Required competencies - Perfect command of the Georgian language; given the specifics of the international school, high-level English language skills will be considered a significant advantage; - Knowledge of the subject curriculum, national curriculum, and international educational standards; - Ability to independently develop long-term (annual) and short-term (semester, thematic, lesson) plans and effectively use them in the teaching process; - Familiarity with modern, interactive, student-centered teaching methods and differentiated approaches; - Knowledge of various tools for assessing students' academic achievements (formative and summative assessment) and objective use; - Effective classroom management, creation of a positive, caring, and respectful learning environment; - Identification of students' individual needs and support for inclusive education principles (in collaboration with a special education teacher); - Digital literacy: proficiency in school management electronic systems, educational platforms, and office programs.

Personal qualities and skills: - High empathy, humanity, and positive, kind attitude towards children and adolescents; - Patience, flexibility, tact, and emotional resilience; - Ability to calmly, constructively, and considering students' interests resolve conflicts and behavioral challenges; - High academic and professional ethics, fairness, impartiality, and sense of responsibility; - Ability to maintain close, systematic, and partnership communication with parents in the process of a child's learning and personal development; - Teamwork, high collaboration culture, and striving for constant self-improvement and professional growth.

Workload: - From 09:30 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday, according to the lesson schedule)
