Medical Documentation Quality Control Specialist

Joint Stock Company "Viani-Tbilisi Referral Hospital" within the framework of the project announces a vacancy for a Medical Documentation Quality Control Specialist in Tbilisi.

Work location: Tbilisi, Z. Iarajuli street N8 (Isani-Samgori district).

Work schedule: 8-hour working day, from Monday to Friday.

Main responsibilities

• Monitoring and quality control of medical documentation production in accordance with established rules;
• Comparison/verification of information in the electronic program and data presented in paper documentation;
• Control of completeness and accuracy of medical histories, forms and attached documentation;
• Identification of defects, discrepancies and incomplete documentation;
• Searching for necessary information and completing documentation in coordination with relevant doctors and departments;
• Management of medical documentation correspondence;
• Preparation of medical documentation for submission as intended;
• Control of diagnoses and performed interventions in accordance with medical classifiers;
• Evaluation of medical cases in accordance with national clinical practice recommendations (guidelines) and state standards;
• Organization of documentation in compliance with established deadlines and regulations;
• Response to quality defects and preparation of recommendations for process improvement;
• Active communication with medical personnel to ensure completeness of documentation and compliance with standards.

Education and qualification requirements

• Higher education in the medical field;
• Desirable work experience in the same or similar position (experience working in a clinic will be a priority);
• Knowledge of office computer programs is required;
