Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution Service

Public Service of Georgia Pension Fund announces a vacancy for the position of: Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution Service.

The Public Service of Georgia Pension Fund is an independent legal entity of public law created on the basis of the Law of Georgia on "Accumulative Pension". The Pension Fund is responsible for the implementation, management and administration of the accumulative pension scheme. The Dispute Resolution Service is an independent unit of the Pension Fund, which is accountable to the Governing Board.

Requirements

• Higher legal education;
• At least 5 years of professional work experience;
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position;
• A person convicted of a serious or particularly serious crime, financing of terrorism and/or legalization of illicit income, narcotics or other economic crimes, as well as a person whose actions caused the insolvency or bankruptcy of a financial institution, cannot be appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution Service of the Pension Fund.
• The Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution Service must be a citizen of Georgia;
• The candidate must have a high level of knowledge of office software (MS Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel);
• Must fully master the Georgian language. Knowledge of English is considered an advantage.

The functions and duties of the Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution Service of the Pension Fund are:

• Within the limits of his/her authority, requests and examines information, documents and other materials;
• Takes actions established by law for consideration of complaints, applications, and claims;
• Makes decisions collegially regarding complaints or claims;
• Concludes an agreement on the distribution of unpaid pension contributions and unreceived benefits (stage-by-stage payment) or collegially refuses to satisfy the applicant;
• Oversees the performance of service duties by the employees of the service, gives them relevant instructions and tasks;
• Exercises other powers deriving from the Law of Georgia on "Accumulative Pension", this regulation and acts regulating the activity of the Fund;
• Performs the duties of the head of the service in the absence of the head or in case of impossibility to perform duties (including removal), and also chairs the meeting of consideration of the case / oral hearing.
