Head of Quality Assurance Service

A competition is announced for the position of a senior specialist in the Quality Assurance Service of the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University named after Ivan Javakhishvili.

1. A competition is announced to fill 1 (one) vacant position of a senior specialist in the Quality Assurance Service of the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University named after Ivan Javakhishvili.

2. The monthly salary for the position specified in the first paragraph of the order is 1130 (one thousand one hundred and thirty) GEL (including income tax and pension contributions).

Working hours: at least 40 hours a week, from 09:00 to 18:00 every day, except weekends.

The selected applicant will be appointed for a three-month probationary period (with the prospect of employment).

3. The applicant must meet the following qualification requirements:

a) Higher education - a bachelor's degree in law (in the field of law or international law) or an active student in a bachelor's program at a law faculty (at least in the 5th semester);

b) The ability to write, read and speak in the state language and English;

c) High-level proficiency in office computer programs (Microsoft Office, Internet Browser).

4. The applicant must be familiar with:

a) The Charter of TSU;

b) The Law of Georgia "On Higher Education";

c) The Regulation of the Faculty of Law of TSU;

d) Regulations in force at TSU.

5. The applicant is required to have the following personal qualities:

a) Creativity and inventiveness;

b) Attention and focus on details;

c) Efficiency;

d) The ability to work independently and effectively on different tasks simultaneously;

e) Teamwork and communication skills;

f) The ability to justify;

g) The ability to work in a force majeure situation;

h) Punctuality and effective time management;

i) The ability to adequately perceive changes and quickly adapt to new things.

6. In case of employment in the position of a senior specialist in the Quality Assurance Service of the Faculty of Law, 1 (one) vacant position, the person will be required to perform the following functions (main duties):

a) Participation in the development, planning, and improvement process of educational programs (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral) within the scope of competence;

b) Participation in technical activities to eliminate gaps in educational programs and course syllabi;

c) Participation in the preparation of annotations for course syllabi of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral educational programs;

d) Providing assistance and consultations to students of all three levels of study at the faculty regarding the recognition of credits obtained abroad or at another higher education institution, subject compatibility (comparing course syllabi at the faculty with those at another higher education institution), and quality-related issues in the current educational process;

e) Participation in student surveys on courses and academic personnel, including focus groups; providing information on survey results to program heads and, if necessary, academic and invited personnel;

f) Participation in preparing response letters and protocols for incoming correspondence;

g) Participation in the procedure for recognizing credits obtained by students transferred during the mobility process within the framework of TSU and other educational programs.

7. Applicants wishing to participate in the competition are required to submit the following documents:

a) Application addressed to the competition commission;

b) CV in Georgian (PDF version) electronically;

c) Copy of the diploma confirming higher education;

d) Copy of the ID card or passport photo page;

e) In case of winning the competition, the applicant must submit a certificate from the Personnel Management Department "on conviction for crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability".

8. The selection of applicants wishing to participate in the competition will be carried out by the competition commission based on the review of the application package. If the documents are not fully submitted, the applicant's documents will not be considered by the competition commission. Applicants whose documents meet the competition requirements will undergo an interview with the selection commission (specific date and time will be notified in advance). The results of the interview will be notified to the applicant personally;

9. The documents required by the order must be sent by applicants from October 10, 2026, to October 22, 2026, until 17:00 at the electronic address. The subject field should indicate - "1 (one unit) freelance position of Senior Specialist in the Legal Quality Assurance Service".

10. An order to announce a competition for the selection of 1 (one) full-time position of a senior specialist in the quality assurance service of the Faculty of Law of Ivan Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, should be published on the official website of the University - www.tsu.ge - and on the internet.
