Mechanic

Georgia International Energy Corporation is announcing a vacancy for the position of Mechanic.

Essential conditions

• Work location: Tbilisi
• Work schedule: 09:00-18:00, with a 1-hour break (from 12:00 to 13:00)
• Working days: from Monday to Friday

Main responsibilities

• Development, design, and analysis of the technical part of projects based on technical assignments;
• Determination of the volume of design documentation required for the project in accordance with technical requirements;
• Development and formalization of design documentation in accordance with the requirements of the Unified System of Design Documentation (ЕСКД);
• Preparation of a list of materials and components to be purchased for the project;
• Author's supervision and control of compliance with design documentation at all stages of production of developed projects and repair products.

Qualification requirements

• Higher technical education with a qualification as a mechanic;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Category I engineer-designer or at least 5 years of experience as a Category II engineer-designer in the field of mechanical engineering;
• High-level knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant design software;
• Knowledge of drawing standards and requirements of the Unified System of Design Documentation (ЕСКД);
• Ability to quickly find and use necessary information in technical standards and regulations;
• Knowledge of basic principles of metal processing, including mechanical processing, welding, and thermal processing;
• Knowledge of the principles of operation and technological capabilities of metal-cutting machines.

Desirable

• Experience in participating in repair and reconstruction works of metal structures and devices of thermal or hydroelectric power plants.

Computer programs

• MS Office;
• AutoCAD.
