Accountant

The Financial Department of Bank of Georgia, Financial Accounting and Control Service, is announcing a vacancy for an Accountant position.

Main responsibilities

• Performing daily accounting operations;

• Production and control of accounting documentation;

Qualification requirements: Education: Higher education in the field of economics (with a focus on accounting or finance);

Work experience

• At least one year of experience working in a bank or other financial organization;

• Experience working with Exact Globe is required;

Desirable knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of accounting programs;

• Basic knowledge of computer office programs (Ms Word, Ms Excel, MS Visio);

• Knowledge of English;

• Experience working with ERP systems is desirable;

• ACCA certificate (first level) is desirable;

• Ability to timely identify and solve problems;

• Logical, analytical, and creative thinking, mathematical skills;

• Planning, correct determination of work goals, and effective time management;

• Speed of work performance, operationality, accuracy, attention to details, strong sense of responsibility, punctuality.
