Operating Room Nurse

"West Georgia Medical Center" is announcing a vacancy for an Operating Room Nurse position.

"West Georgia Medical Center" is one of the largest hospitals in the Vian network, offering a full range of outpatient and inpatient services for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, and adult).

Work location: Kutaisi, Iv. Javakhishvili St. N83a

Work schedule: Full-time, 8-hour, 5-day workweek

Main responsibilities:

• Implementation of hospital-developed procedures and protocols;
• Production of nursing documentation (accurate, timely, and high-quality production of nursing records);
• Working with various electronic modules;
• Preparation of expense accounting according to the established procedure: accurate recording of expenses incurred during working hours;
• Working with different types of infusion devices;
• Checking the equipment and inventory in the operating room before the operation;
• Preparation of surgical instruments (depending on the specialty), medications, and consumables in the operating block;
• Receiving and placing the patient on the operating table in the required position for the operation;
• Quality management of the operation in accordance with the protocols implemented in the network;
• Assisting the doctor during the operation;
• Supervision and control of the operating team during the operation;
• Correct prioritization in critical situations with patients;
• Collection of patient samples for laboratory analysis;
• Sorting and description of instruments after the operation, together with the nurse's assistant;
• Proper use and maintenance of medical consumables, inventory, and equipment;
• Storage of surgical instruments and responsibility for their use, together with the senior nurse;
• Working with computer programs;
• Notification of handed over inventory and consumables.

Qualification requirements:

• Specialized secondary education: nursing or higher medical education, or students of the medical faculty from the 6th semester;
• Mandatory work experience.

Based on the Candidate's present consent, the Employer declares that it will process the information obtained from the Candidate during the pre-contractual period within the network of JSC Vian (TIN 404476205) or its affiliated medical institutions (for the avoidance of any doubt, the affiliated medical institutions include any profile companies that are subsidiaries and/or affiliated with JSC Vian and/or under its direct or indirect management, hereinafter referred to as the "Employer").

4. The Employer undertakes to process the information obtained from the Candidate during the pre-contractual period to the extent and within the limits necessary to achieve the goal of the Candidate's employment. The obtained information will be stored with the Employer for no more than 3 (three) years, and in the case of any disputed issues that may be related to the Candidate or the obtained information, until the relevant dispute is resolved. In addition, in the case of disputed circumstances, the Employer is entitled to transfer the obtained information to the relevant competent authorities. Furthermore, the data sent by the Candidate may not be considered for the given vacancy and may be reserved for another relevant vacancy. In the case of employment, the Candidate's data will be stored for at least the entire period of employment.

5. The Employer also undertakes to provide the Candidate with complete information about the work to be performed, the form of the employment contract (written, oral), its term, working conditions, and the legal status of the employee during the pre-contractual period.
