LLC "European University" announces an open competition for the Faculty of Law, Humanities and Social Sciences to fill the following academic positions:

Within the Bachelor's Educational Program in Archeology:

Archeology (academic field): three associate professor vacancies

Economics (academic field): one associate professor vacancy

Anthropology (academic field): one associate professor vacancy

Within the Bachelor's Educational Program in Law:

Private Law (professional field) - one associate professor vacancy

English Language (academic field) - one associate professor vacancy

Within the Master's Educational Program in Private Law: Private Law (academic field) - two associate professor vacancies

Competition (qualification) requirements:

To occupy the academic position of associate professor (academic field), a person must meet the following requirements:

• Have a doctoral or equivalent academic degree
• Have at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience
• Have scientific publications or be a co-author of publications in the direction of the relevant course/courses' themes (within the last 5 years)
• Have experience in developing a relevant course syllabus (syllabi)

To occupy the academic position of associate professor (professional field), a person must meet the following requirements:

• Have a master's academic degree;
• Have at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience
• Have at least 5 years of work experience in the relevant field
• Have experience in developing a relevant course syllabus

Competition documentation:

A person interested in participating in the competition is obliged to electronically submit (by email) the following documentation to the commission at the stage of submitting documents:

• Application for participation in the competition, indicating the relevant field and academic position. The applicant fills out the application only for one position/one field.

• Autobiography (CV) in Georgian and English, in the format of a resume developed by the university (see the application and CV form at the following electronic link);

• A copy of the identity document;

• Copies of educational documents confirming qualifications (in case of education received abroad, including a scientific degree of a candidate of sciences (equivalent to a doctoral academic degree), the candidate is obliged to submit a document confirming the recognition of education);

• A document confirming practical experience in the relevant field;

• Copies of documentation confirming pedagogical experience in a higher educational institution and scientific works adequate to the competitive position/field, or copies of them (published within the last 5 years);

• Relevant syllabi (printed or electronic version);

• A certificate issued by the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on "Conviction for crimes against sexual freedom and inviolability".

The competition will be held in accordance with the "Personnel Selection Procedure" of LLC European University and will consist of two stages:

1. First stage - selection and evaluation of documents submitted by competitors.

2. Second stage - delivery of a demonstration lecture.

Competition deadlines:

• The competition is announced on September 29, 2026;

• Acceptance of documents from those wishing to take an academic position will be carried out from October 29 to November 2, 2026;

• The first stage of the competition will take place no later than November 9, 2026;

• The second stage of the competition will take place no later than November 16, 2026;

• Familiarization of competitors with the results of the competition no later than November 17, 2026;

• The deadline for the competitor to submit an appeal application is from November 18 to November 19, 2026.
